Daddy’s birthday party was the big event of the day. About 40 family and friends came to celebrate. Chase spent a lot of time out in the backyard playing with Jackson and the wagon and motorcycle. He also went for two walks with Aunt Patty and Nanaw; on the second walk, Sam got to go along. Chase stayed up till 9:30, way past his bedtime but Mama said he was having such a good time with everybody that she couldn’t put him to bed.
