Mama was off work on Friday, and she and Nanaw went on a long Christmas shopping trip, unfortunately without Chase. Daddy was home from work also and Mama wanted to let Chase spend the day with him. Mama and Nanaw went to Gravois Bluffs and to the mall, and then to Walmart. At Walmart, they bought a Snoopy with a Cardinals shirt for Chase. He has started paying attention to Snoopy because of watching A Charlie Brown Christmas. Nanaw came to visit Chase later in the day, and Chase and Daddy demonstrated what they had spent a great deal of time doing during the day: playing kick ball in the kitchen with all of Chase’s balls. Chase also showed Nanaw how to play with the new wooden people Mama. Mama started baking cookies in preparation for her cookie-baking extravaganza with her friends on Sunday.
