Mama took off work today to have a special celebration for Chase's birthday. She dropped Chase off at Nanaw's house, and then went to Walmart to pick up his Thomas birthday cake. She wanted to take it home so he wouldn't see it, and it would be a surprise for him. She brought Dunkin Donuts for Chase’s birthday breakfast, and Mama, Chase and Nanaw ate the donuts. After breakfast, they all went to the Train House to watch the trains on display. Next, they went to Walmart in Waterloo, and then they had lunch at Applebey’s in Waterloo. After lunch, they went to Rural King for letters for Nanaw’s mailbox, and Chase played on the Thomas table there. Mama and Nanaw didn't know about the Thomas table and were very excited to see it. Mama bought Chase a birthday cake Thomas the Train as another surprise. In the evening, Jackson, Aunt Jen, Uncle Joe and Nanaw came over for a Pizza Hut dinner and the Thomas cake and lots of presents from Jackson. The presents included a Thomas Misty Island, a Thomas jacket and pants, Ferdinand the Train, Scruffy the Train and Gator the Train.
