Chase and Nanaw stayed home on Monday, except for a visit to the pediatrician, Dr. Charles. Daddy and Mama were concerned that Chase’s cold lasted a long time and then came back. So Mama asked Nanaw to take Chase to the doctor. In the waiting room, one of the little boys there was making a train out of the children-sized chairs. Chase wanted to help him but the nurse came to get Chase right then. So in the examining room, Chase made his own train with the two chairs and doctor’s rolling stool in the room. Chase was very cute with Dr. Charles and was well-behaved. Dr. Charles said Chase has an ear infection in his right ear and a fluid buildup in his left ear. He sent a prescription for amoxicillin to the Walgreen’s pharmacy in Columbia. This was Chase’s first ear infection and first course of an antibiotic – which the doctor said is amazing for a three-year-old.
