Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree as their first activity on Tuesday. Nanaw bought lots of cards and lots of toys for Chase -- yes, it was a toy day at Dollar Tree. He got toys to keep at Nanaw's house: another FBI gun set, another harmonica, a package of snakes and a bow and arrow set. Next, they went to Walmart. They had been planning on an adventure at Powder Valley on Tuesday but the weather was wretched again, rainy and cold and windy, so Nanaw decided to postpone Powder Valley to Wednesday. In the afternoon, Chase went with Nanaw to her doctor's appointment. He was so good and so cute. He played with Nanaw's iPad and behaved himself beautifully. Chase stayed late at Nanaw's house because Daddy went bowling and Mama had to work late. Mama brought Chase and herself Happy Meals and yogurt for Nanaw, and they all ate together at Nanaw's house. Chase was excited to get two more Charlie Brown toys -- he got two more Schroeder and Snoopy toys -- Mama asked him if she could take one of them to work to put on her desk, and Chase said yes.
