When Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning, Mama said that he had a slight case of diarrhea, his first ever. Chase was lying on his "Gascar" chair watching videos on Daddy’s iPad mini, so Nanaw lay down with him and watched also. Then he decided to go into the kitchen and have Dory cereal with milk, his latest favorite thing. While everyone was sitting at the kitchen table, Mama filled out the field trip form for Chase. On Thursday, October 13, (which is a Tuesday and not one of Chase's regular days at school), Nanaw is going to take Chase to the Columbia library for the field trip, and maybe the class will go to the little park to play on the playground. After breakfast, Chase and Nanaw went into the living room to race his Hot Wheels on the new track Mama bought for him at Walmart. The track was attached to his new mega hauler and worked very well. He also played with his guitar and kept saying "Rock and Roll!" – very cute. Mama told Nanaw that they were going to a big Eckert’s bonfire in Belleville on Saturday night with Uncle Chris and his family. There would be hot dogs and marshmallows. Chase was also going shopping on Saturday with Mama and Daddy, to Best Buy and maybe to CostCo again. Nanaw will be interested to see if Chase gets any new toys on the shopping trip.
