Chase and Nanaw spent time Thursday morning putting things away because the cleaning lady was coming. Then they went to the Train House for the 11:45 session of the Creation Station. Miss Linda was very glad to see Chase and Nanaw. Chase sat down at the craft table and worked on making a pumpkin wagon. As usual, his favorite thing was using the glue bottle to paste pumpkins and leaves on his wagon. He and Nanaw also raced the wooden cars around the wooden town -- and Chase always won, of course. After the Creation Station, Chase got his popcorn and ran around the circus train. Then Chase and Nanaw went to visit the caboose. Next, they went to the wonderful big Des Peres Schnucks so Nanaw could buy some gluten-free croissants for the trip to Rockbridge. Chase gad fun pushing around a customer in training cart for little kids.Then they went to the Des Peres park where Chase played on both playgrounds. When they had turned onto Manchester Road, off the highway, Chase said "Let's go to the park." Nanaw was absolutely amazed that he recognized where they were and remembered that the park was there. He does things like that all the time. When Chase got home, Grandma Pat was there. She's going to spend a few days with Daddy, Mama and Chase. Chase was so cute and precious with Grandma Pat, showing her his toys and his Halloween decorations in his room. It was the sweetest thing.
