After Nanaw picked Chase up from school on Wednesday, they went to the big Columbia park to play. Chase had Nanaw get his three Hot Wheels out of the Elmo bag so he could race them down the slides, one of his favorite things to do at parks. When he was on the "danger" climbing things, Nanaw noticed that he had his shoes on the wrong feet. Nanaw asked about it, and Chase said he put his shoes on by himself at school after his nap -- very funny. Later, he told Nanaw about part of his day at school. He said at lunchtime, first they say a prayer, then they eat lunch, then they get their pillows out of their lockers and their mats from the mat area, and then they do the Focus Five, then they take their nap. He says they have nap noise (which Nanaw interprets as a white noise machine). When the nap is over, their teacher says "Time to wake up" and turns off the nap noise. After their nap, they put their pillows back in their lockers and the mats back in the mat area. At Nanaw's house, Nanaw showed Chase the pumpkin she bought for him for Halloween. They decorated the pumpkin with the decorations Pawpaw bought years ago.
