On Saturday, Nanaw went to double cousin Rosemary's funeral in St. Charles before she came to visit Chase. She saw Uncle Doug there and told him her plan to meet him at the Science Center with Chase so Uncle Doug can explain the science to him. She also told him her plan to find the Dreisewerd farm in Old Monroe. When Nanaw got home, she went to Chase's house to play with him. They played hockey for awhile, then read the last story in the Biscuit library book. Chase said he didn't want to return the book to the library yet, and Nanaw told him they could keep it until August 16. Sam had a sleepover with Nanaw at the little house on Saturday night. Mama, Daddy and Chase were going out to Silex to Uncle Chris's for a belated July 4th party with fireworks. Mama said Chase had a great time swimming with his cousins and playing baseball with cousin Elias. Chase said the fireworks were good. Tee Tee had to stay inside and didn't get to watch the fireworks.
