When Nanaw went over to Chase's house on Sunday, everybody was outside. Mama and Daddy said they'd been outside playing with Chase since about 12:30. They played with the baseball slip and slide, did water balloons, played baseball, jumped on the trampoline and lots of other things. Chase and Nanaw played baseball for a few minutes, then everyone went inside for dinner -- Italian sausage, hot dogs and salad. After dinner, Chase and Nanaw played school for awhile but it didn't really go well. Nanaw managed to get him to read one of the Biscuit stories in the library book and do one of the workbook pages. But he was being silly and uncooperative so Nanaw said she would go home. Chase wasn't happy about that. Nanaw stayed for a few more minutes, sitting with Mama and trying to find things in the I Spy book from the library. Mama bought it from Amazon because she was so obsessed with it. Later, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to the Snow Cone stand on Main Street. Mama said they also have ice cream; if Nanaw had known that, she would have gone with them but she wasn't very interested in a snow cone.
