Chase and Nanaw had story time first thing Monday morning. Mama sent books and a prop appropriate to the weather: Snowballs, Winter and a white fuzzy snowball that Grandma Pat bought for Chase and gave to him when he visited on Sunday. Chase also played with the Thomas case that Mama bought for him at Once Upon a Child and that he was going to keep at Nanaw’s house. But the most exciting thing Chase did today was go outside to play in the snow. He took his bucket, shovel, brush and broom and had a grand time filling up his bucket with snow. He also pushed his Thomas the Train around the front yard – it looked like he was pushing a snow blower, and Mama says he needs one. After lunch, Nanaw gave him some pots and spoons and dishes and he pretended like he was cooking – very cute. Chase said something that made Nanaw sad today – he said he wanted to go home to Chase’s house and play Angry Birds with Daddy – but that’s okay – it’s good that he loves his Daddy so much. Nanaw invited Angry Birds to come to her house tomorrow so Chase can play with them.
