When Nanaw came to visit Chase on Sunday evening, he met her at the gate to the living room, saying, "Hi, Nanaw. I get a sucker." It turns out that Mama and Daddy had promised Chase a sucker when Nanaw came to visit, and Chase (the smart little one) remembered. While Nanaw was there, she told him stories (one of his new favorite things – always starting with "One day" and ending with "The End" – sometimes that’s the entire content of Daddy’s stories. Chase and Nanaw also played trains in the living room, played "Pile" in his room, played with his zoo, played with other toys in his room. Nanaw had a piece of Mama’s "dee-wishes" pumpkin cheesecake and gave bites to Chase and Mama. Nanaw also stayed for dinner, even though she hadn’t planned to -- "dee-wishes" chicken teriyaki.
