Chase and Nanaw went to chase’s favorite place today -- the Train House (aka the Museum of Transportation). In the winter, Wednesdays are for members only, and the only things open are two sessions of the Creation Station (aka the Thomas Tables). There were only about 10 children there, so Chase had lots of room to play. He spent time playing with the trains on the Thomas tables but he spent most of his time in the kitchen. It was really cute to watch him playing with all the food and dishes and pots and pans. He also did a lot of "mopping." Nanaw thinks she and Chase will go to the Train House on Wednesdays during the winter. When they got home from the train house, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to play trains. When Mama got off work, she picked up Chase and Nanaw and they all went to Walmart. Mama wanted to buy some snow boots for Chase but Walmart didn’t have any so Mama is going to Payless in the next few days to see what she can find. When Chase got home, he told Daddy, "I’m so glad to see you, Daddy" -- very cute and very smart.
