Nanaw came to visit Chase on Saturday morning, the day after a wonderful Halloween. Chase and Daddy had some of Chase’s Halloween candy. Mama had been for her mammogram and then did her grocery shopping at Walmart. Chase and Nanaw played with his toys in the living room, then went into the kitchen where Mama was baking a pumpkin cheesecake for Uncle Chris’s Halloween party Saturday night. Nanaw gave Chase a bowl and a spoon and some pumpkin seeds, and he seemed to have a great time mixing the pumpkin seeds in the bowl. He kept saying, "I’m mixing." Nanaw put a towel around his neck as a pretend apron. Nanaw will have to get him an apron and let him play with bowls and spoons in her kitchen. Nanaw wishes she could find a kitchen at Goodwill for Chase but so far she hasn’t seen one. After Chase was finished cooking, he and Nanaw went into his room and played "Pile!" with his stuffed animals. In the evening, Mama called and said they were having a wonderful time at Uncle Chris’s. Sam was there too and they were all going to spend the night.
