Chase was happy to go to school on Monday -- that little fellow really loves school. When he got there, Ms. Merz called him over to look at his flower plant -- it had started to sprout. Nanaw didn't get to see it but on Wednesday, she'll look at it and take a picture for Mama. After school, Nanaw got huge hugs from Chase and Brady. Once again, Chase picked up pine cones for the collection. On the way home, Chase and Nanaw went to Waterloo Walmart, where Nanaw bought Chase a Cars car -- Easy Oaks. Then they went to Dollar Tree where Chase used the $2.00 he got for Easter, along with $2.00 from Nanaw to buy sandbox toys -- shovels, a bucket and a fish. When they got home, Chase had lunch, and then went out on the lower deck to play in the sandbox -- he was so excited. He played out there for about an hour and then played with his toys downstairs. Nanaw was excited because she got extended time with Chase on Monday. Mama and Daddy went to the Blues hockey game with Auntie LaLa and Little Will so Chase stayed with Nanaw. Chase took a really long nap -- 3 1/2 hours. Usually Nanaw has to wake him up to take him home but this time she let him wake up by himself. They went to McDonald's for dinner, and Chase was really happy about that. He got a little car in his Happy Meal, which also made him happy. When they got back to Nanaw's house, Chase played on abcmouse for awhile, and then they went back to Chase's house. Nanaw let Chase stay up until Mama and Daddy got home -- about 10:15. Bad Nanaw but Mama and Daddy were happy to see Chase and he was happy to see them. Chase was so good on Monday and Monday evening, sweet and charming and delightful -- it made Nanaw very happy.
