Thursday's first adventure for Chase was going to Story Time with Miss Candy at the Columbia Library. Sienna and Poppy, two of the little girls from Chase's class, were there, and Chase was happy to see them. The craft was a night-time scene with a black background and eyes floating on the page. Chase loved the eyes -- they were his favorite. After Story Time, Chase and Nanaw went to the little park next to the library. Chase wanted to throw coins in the fountain and make wishes so they did that first. Then they went to the playground in the little park. Two of the boys (Ben and Barrett) from Story Time were there playing, and Chase was happy about that. He asked Nanaw to get his three Hot Wheels cars out of the car, and she did. Chase shared them with the boys, and they had a great time playing together. They stayed and played at the park for about an hour. Right before they left, Nanaw took Chase and Barrett back to the fountain, and they threw pennies in the fountain and made wishes. After the park, they went to Walmart and then to the Dollar Tree for toys for Chase.
