Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning before she went out to Aspenhof. When Nanaw got there, Chase and Mama were sitting at the kitchen table playing with one of the games that came with his Highlights magazine. Chase loves to play games and that makes Mama happy because she loves to play games, too. Yesterday Mama gave Chase a spray bottle to play with – she told Nanaw that spray bottles are one of his favorite things. So Daddy filled the spray bottle with hot water and filled the color-changing bowl with ice water, and Chase and Nanaw went into the bathroom to play with the color changing cars. It was so much fun. When Chase sprayed hot water on the cars that had been in the ice water, they changed color, and it looked like Chase was painting them. He was delighted with the whole process, and he kindly let Nanaw play with the spray bottle also. Chase was very excited because Little Will was coming over on Saturday evening, and Chase would get to play with him. Nanaw and Mama got a text message from Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky from Pittsburgh – they’re going to the Cardinals’ opening season game on Sunday.
