On Sunday morning, Nanaw took Chase to Sunday School while she went to church. Mama dressed him up in his best clothes -- a light blue shirt and khakis -- he looked very handsome. He said he had a good time with the little "grils" there, and he came home with a paper bag that had a Tootsie Pop and some papers to color. Daddy was home when Nanaw took Chase home, and he was so excited. He ran across the yard into Daddy's arms and gave him a big hug. In the evening, everybody but Kristie who had to work went to Cici's for cousin Joe's birthday celebration. After dinner, the boys were playing football out in the street, and Chase had fun watching them. Cousin Lindsey went for a run, and Chase wanted to go after her and "catch up." So Nanaw took him out for a walk. On the way, they saw a big turtle crossing the street, and Nanaw took a picture of it. Chase really liked the turtle. Cousin Lindsey met Nanaw and Chase on the street, and they all walked back to Nanaw's house together. A boy and a girl had picked up the turtle, and Chase got to see it close up, which delighted him.
