Chase's adventure for Tuesday was a visit to the Train House. The weather was still rainy and very chilly so there were no train rides and no exploring the trains -- just playing in the Creation Station. Of course, Miss Linda was delighted to see Chase and Nanaw. One of the first things Chase did was to find Nanaw's favorite train for her -- Paint-Splattered Thomas. Nanaw is thinking about buying it from Amazon. Chase and Nanaw played in the kitchen for awhile but they spent most of their time building a train track with the wooden tracks. Nanaw is very impressed at how good Chase is becoming at putting the track together. He seems to know how to make it all work. When Nanaw took Chase home, he asked where Mama was and Nanaw told him she was getting her hair cut. Daddy told Chase that maybe they would go to get Chase's hair cut, and he would get a sucker. Chase, of course, said, "I don't want to do that," which, along with "No" are his default answers to everything. Daddy said, "Chase, you should at least consider it." Nanaw can't wait to hear whether or not the haircut happened. Update: Mama sent a picture of Chase with his haircut. He wouldn't let her take a picture of him so she gave him her phone to take a selfie of both of them -- he's a hoot.
