On Friday, Chase took two bottles of water to school because of the boil order in Columbia. He also took his contribution of Valentine's candy for the children at the Griffin Center. When Nanaw picked Chase up, she saw an accident at the school crossing; she told Chase about it, and he was very excited to see the police cars at the school crossing. He was also excited about the plans for the afternoon and evening. First, Chase and Nanaw were going to the Magic House -- they hadn't been there all week. Then they were going to the tunnel McDonald's for dinner. Chase had a great time at the Magic House, as usual. He and Nanaw saw his friend who works at the Future Play room. She made sure the "monster" stayed on the wall an extra long time, just for Chase because he loves it so much. Chase and Nanaw also went into the craft room, Chase did the glass painting activity. He didn't want to go to see the trains or the secret slide but he did visit shadow wall, the ball tracks, the Lego cars, both of the sand areas, the waterworks, the vet, and the Blues hockey room. Note: Nanaw found out from Mama that the Magic House is going to have a Daniel Tiger display. Nanaw looked it up, and the display starts February 11 -- Chase is going to be so excited because he loves Daniel Tiger and watches him on Channel 9 every weekday morning. At McDonald's there were almost a dozen boys and girls in the play area, and Chase was so happy about that. He had a great time playing with the kids, and was pretty much the ringleader.
