On Thursday morning, Chase and Nanaw had their first adventure this week. They went to Storytime at the Columbia Library. Miss Candy called Nanaw last night to remind her about Storytime; Nanaw told her they'd be there if Chase was feeling all right. And he was feeling fine on Thursday morning, so that was good. Sienna from his Pre-K class was there, and Chase was very happy about that. Before the stories, Chase had fun playing with the castle with Sienna. Miss Candy read two books about the ocean and fish to the children. Next, they did a craft, painting scales on fish with celery stalks. It was very clever. Miss Candy always has the best crafts for Storytime. Chase played with the toys again after the crafts were done. Chase and Nanaw stopped at home after Storytime. Nanaw had planned on them going to the Magic House but there was a little more diarrhea so they stayed home. Chase wanted to paint with celery so Nanaw got out the paints, celery, a paper plate and paper and Chase painted with celery. He also got paint all over his socks and the kitchen floor but it was worth it because he had so much fun. Next, Chase decided to make tickets for the Polar Express again. He had more friends today, including Tee Tee, Rooster the penguin, Jack Skellington, Chase the Box Turtle and Rascal. Then Chase decided to spread marbles all over the floor so Nanaw had him help her pick them up. Chase refused to take a night-night nap so on the way home, he fell asleep as soon as they were out of Nanaw's driveway.
