Mama had the day off from work on Friday, and Chase was off from school, so they and Nanaw had an adventure-filled day. First, they went to Dunkin Donuts, at Chase's request. Next, they went to the library where Mama selected five books for herself. Next, they went to Handi Man Hardware to see the Christmas decorations. Chase was very excited about the nutcracker, Woodstock Snoopy, the Minion, Rudolph, baby Jesus, and the big penguin plus lots more. Then they went to the Train House. Miss Linda was very happy to see them and told Mama how much she likes Chase and Nanaw. Chase did the scavenger hunt and then got to make a sock snowman out of a white sock. He also did the craft -- a mail truck. After the Train House, they went to Powder Valley, where Chase found the answers to the questions in the newsletter. On their way home from Powder Valley, Mama suggested that they check out Laumeier Sculpture Park, which is on the other side of Watson Road from Powder Valley. They got out and walked around when Chase saw what he said was an eyeball. And he was right. It was a huge eyeball. They walked on a trail and looked at lots of sculptures. It was a wonderful day of adventures. In the evening, Chase went out to dinner at Tequila's with Mama and Daddy.
