Chase was happy to go back to school on Monday morning and see all his friends. It turned out that Mrs. Hermann was not at school on Friday; she went to Chicago for a Gibault soccer event. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he was wearing an L headband with a cool picture of a lion on the front. So the class is almost halfway through the alphabet with their headbands. At Nanaw's house, Chase did his usual playing thing -- he got out an assortment of toys, place them on the kitchen counter and proceeded to make up pretend games with them, complete with voices and dialogue.
