Chase and Nanaw had a quiet day at home on Monday. Uncle Mike says Nanaw needs two new front tires, and he's going to find some for her so she didn't want to go very far from home on any adventures until the tires are taken care of. Chase and Nanaw played out on the upper deck, then in the sandbox on the lower deck. They also played with the toys in Chase's room and with the trains downstairs. They played with the flash cards in the school room, and Chase "played music" on both keyboards. Chase watched the Cats & Dogs movie on Nanaw's portable DVD player, and then he colored at the kitchen counter. He also played with a child-safe scissors, cutting up paper and asking for more paper to cut up. When Nanaw took Chase home, he asked Mama if they could color. It took awhile for Mama to track down the missing crayons but finally Chase and Mama were settled at the kitchen table, coloring.
