Chase's Wednesday adventure was a trip to the Train House -- Chase and Nanaw missed that adventure last week because of the tire issue. Miss Linda was very happy to see Chase and Nanaw. First thing, Chase did a craft -- a tin foil train -- with Nanaw and Miss Linda. Then Chase went to play with the wooden blocks, and he invited Miss Linda to join him -- it was very cute and it delighted Miss Linda. Nanaw and chase met another grandma and her grandson Graham. She takes care of three of grandchildren, and she and Nanaw shared ideas about adventures they take their grandchildren on. Nanaw learned that the Missouri Botanical Garden has a children's play area, so Chase and Nanaw will have to check it out. Chase played with the mail and the megablocks, and he and two other boy dressed up in the various costumes -- doctor, mailman, policeman, train engineer, and astronaut. After the Creation Station, Chase and Nanaw rode on the train. Then Chase rode on the hand cars. Next, they bought popcorn, the best part of the day. Lastly, they visited the caboose, which is one of Chase's favorite places. When Chase and Nanaw were leaving to take Chase home, Chase turned off the TV in his room, and Nanaw said, "You're a very useful engine." (like they say on the Thomas videos) Chase replied, "I'm not a useful engine. I'm a boy. I'm Chase." Very cute. When Chase got home, Mama was alphabetizing her CDs downstairs in the blue room. Chase said, "I help you." So Mama gave him some CDs that he could pretend with.
