When Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw's Thursday morning, she told Nanaw that Chase was spitting last night. and Daddy made him sit in time-out. Mama asked Nanaw to do the same. So when Chase spit at her, Nanaw put a dining room chair in the middle of the room and had Chase sit there for three minutes. It broke Nanaw's heart to do that but she knew it was the right thing to do. Chase sat there very quietly and stayed in the chair even when Nanaw left the room. When the three minutes were up, Nanaw told Chase he could get up. He jumped down, ran up to Nanaw, said, "Cool. High five!" and gave Nanaw high five. What a funny little bug he is! Chase and Nanaw went to buy tires but they have to get them aligned on Friday -- then maybe things will be back to normal. After getting the tires, Chase and Nanaw went to story time at the Telegraph Road Library. The stories were about mustaches and the songs were about superheros. The craft was coloring a page full of mustaches, then cutting them out and gluing them to Popsicle sticks. It was good to go on an adventure to the library.
