Monday was Pajama Day at Chase's school. All the students and the teachers were supposed to wear pajamas. But some of the students and teachers forgot, which was sad for them. Ms. Merz forgot and Ms. Whitworth teased her about it. Emmalynn forgot, and she cried because she didn't have pajamas on -- Ms. Kish held her and comforted her -- it was very sweet. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library to return books and check out a book for Nanaw. When they came home, Chase and Nanaw played abcmouse and hockey. When Nanaw took Chase home, he started playing hockey with Daddy right away. Everybody was disappointed that once again Chase's T-ball game was cancelled because of the wet fields. So far, both of his first games have been cancelled, along with the regular practices. Nanaw had planned for her and Chase to go out to the little house on Tuesday to see the kitchen and bathroom that Uncle Mike re-did but the highway department is closing Highway 44 tomorrow, and Nanaw doesn't want to drive all the way to Highway 70. So they'll wait until Highway 44 is open again.
