Sunday was Mother's Day, and Chase had several adventures. First, he and Daddy went to church, and Chase was very good in church. Next, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Wentzville to celebrate with Grandma Pat. Mama, Daddy and Chase bought roses for the two grandmas but forgot to take Grandma Pat's roses to her -- so Nanaw got both bouquets. One was red roses and the other was yellow roses. After visiting Grandma Pat, Mama, Daddy and Chase came to Nanaw's house. Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, cousin Nichole, cousin Kristie and her boyfriend Jerome were there along with Cheyenne and Apache. Mama decided to not bring Sam. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky planted tomatoes, cucumbers and marigolds for Nanaw. So from now on, Chase and Nanaw will water her plants in the morning. Uncle Mike grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and Italian sausage for dinner. Nanaw made cheesy bacon ranch potatoes in the crockpot. Mama, Daddy and Chase gave Nanaw a new mailbox (which Daddy is going to install this week), gluten-free pretzels, Russell Stover chocolates and an Amazon gift card. Mama did the dishes as usual -- she's the best daughter ever.
