When Mama brought Chase to Nanaw's house Wednesday morning, Nanaw was excited to see Bill the owl. Nanaw asked if Mama had sent along the baby owl book. Mama said no because it was a school day but that she would read the baby owl book Wednesday night at bedtime. Chase said he didn't want to go to the park after school so Nanaw told him they would come home instead and play baseball outside. Chase said he wanted to play golf and hockey also so that's what they did. Chase is the most sports-minded kid Nanaw has ever seen. After sports time, they went downstairs to play school. Chase also tried to make a hockey puck out of paper but it didn't work too well. Chase had Mexican Haystack for lunch and said he liked it. Nanaw thinks Mexican Haystack means nachos. Mama wasn't home when Chase went home. She went out to dinner with friends from work, including Aunt Becky. Nanaw forgot to take any pictures of Chase on Wednesday so she included one from Tuesday because Chase had a green shirt on again today. Mama posted the dinner photo below on Facebook.
