On Sunday, Chase had a major adventure (or "benture" as he calls them) with Mama, Daddy and Nanaw. They went for ScottTrade's Family Day at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals were out of town, playing the Braves in Atlanta. Chase got two balloon sculptures -- one was a green alien and one was a blue fishing pole with a fish. Daddy went to the bullpen and did some pitching. Mama and Chase both had their picture taken winging Matt Carpenter's bat. They also got a look at the batting cage but didn't go inside because there was a long line. Mama and Daddy went to the beer tasting, and Chase had cookies from the dessert area. Then they all had lunch in the big open area. Daddy had a cheeseburger, Chase had chicken tenders, and Mama and Nanaw had grilled chicken and fries. The best part was walking around the outside of the baseball field on the warning track. It was a beautiful day, and Busch Stadium was beautiful. After the Busch Stadium adventure, Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to Silex to Uncle Chris's house for Elias's 4th birthday party. Mama told Nanaw that Chase had a wonderful time at the party, playing with his cousins Elias, Cessie and Mallory.
