Tuesday's adventure for Chase and Nanaw was a trip to the Train House. Miss Linda was so happy to see them, and Chase and Nanaw were happy to see her. It was a quiet day at the Creation Station, with only about half a dozen boys and girls. Chase and Nanaw spent a lot of time at the craft table with Miss Linda. Chase made a flower truck and made popsicle stick figures for Mama, Daddy and Chase. He also drew a picture of Sam standing next to them. He made sure to bring his craft home to Mama. After the crafts, Chase and Nanaw played in the kitchen for a long time. There were new groceries and food items to play with -- fancy cupcakes, mac and cheese, salads, tomato soup, cereal -- all lots of fun. After the kitchen, Chase went to the magnet block table. Nanaw was going to go play with him but there was another little boy at the table so Nanaw decided to see if Chase wanted to play with the little boy -- and he did. Then two other boys came to the table and the four of them played together -- it was very cute. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went to the bank, Schnuck's and Dollar Tree. When they were walking to Dollar Tree, Chase looked up at Nanaw and said, "I really love you." It made Nanaw cry. And it meant a lot, even if it was all about going to Dollar Tree.
