Chase had the day off from school for Columbus Day, and Nanaw had a wonderful time with the little fellow. He was so good and so delightful -- Nanaw hopes he continues that behavior for his Mama and Daddy Monday night. First thing in the morning, he played at Nanaw's kitchen counter with his slime. Then they got ready for their adventure of the day: going to the Train House. When they got to the Creation Station, Miss Linda was so happy to see them. She gave Chase and Nanaw a big smile and big hugs. She took Chase around the room for a tour of the new toys she had. It's been a month or so since Chase and Nanaw were at the Creation Station so there were several new things for Chase to see. He seemed to be having a really good time playing with other boys and girls, something that's new for him at the Train House. Usually he would ignore the other kids but school must be having a really good influence on him. When they got home from the Train House, Chase and Nanaw had lunch and the when downstairs to play school and to play with Chase's trains. At the end of the day, they went to the library so Nanaw could make color copies of Chase's school picture. He played in the children's room, and then selected a Pop-Tart from the vending machine on the way out.
