When Nanaw picked Chase up on Wednesday morning, she told him how excited she was that it was Wednesday and her day to volunteer at his class. Mrs. Herrmann called Nanaw about coming in earlier than 1 p.m. so Nanaw went there at 12:30. Nanaw did the Smartboard again , this time making pumpkin faces. It was so much fun to play with Chase's classmates. Nanaw asked Mrs. Herrmann if it was all right for her to stay for recess and then for the Young Authors assembly, and Mrs. Herrmann said yes. Nanaw went out on the playground at recess time and played with Alaina and Cole. Chase was playing with older boys and didn't pay any attention to Nanaw. Nanaw had fun on the playground at recess. The assembly was super. Chase got a certificate of participation. The teachers read the winning stories, and they were awesome. Nanaw is so impressed with how talented the students are.
