Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning and got to see Uncle Mike again because he spent the night at Chase's house. Mama fixed yummy bacon for breakfast, plus monkey bread -- biscuits in a bundt pan with cinnamon and brown sugar and butter syrup. After breakfast, (Nanaw ate lots of bacon and a bite of the money bread), Nanaw and Chase went outside and played baseball in the back yard. Chase complained about Nanaw's pitching but he managed to hit a ball over the roof and out into the street, plus one on the roof of the WE bar -- so the pitching couldn't have been that bad. Nanaw left to go to the little house; Uncle Mike went home; and Mama and Chase went to Millstadt to have a pizza lunch with Aunt Becca at Papa Vito's. When Daddy got home from golfing, Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to St. Charles to Bass Pro to look at waders for Chase for Rockbridge. But they didn't have waders small enough for Chase. Maybe next year. Chase had a wonderful time at Bass Pro, and he said he liked seeing the fish.
