On Sunday afternoon, Chase and Mama had a major adventure. They went to the Pumpkin Blossom Hill pumpkin patch with Mama's friend from work Becky and Becky's daughter Taylor. Mama said Chase had a wonderful time with Taylor. They went down the slides, climbed on the Thomas the Train, played in the corn and did lots of other things. Nanaw wished she could have gone along but she went to baby Max's first birthday party (see below for a picture of Max covered in birthday cake). In the evening, Nanaw came over to visit Chase. While she was there, Mama and Chase made a birthday card for his teacher Mrs. Herrmann and then Chase practiced writing his name. Then Chase and Nanaw played soccer in the hall, first with the big rubber dice and then with Chase's hover ball. Next Mama went out in the front yard and blew up the pumpkins and the skeleton. Then she put Jack Skellington out on the back deck. Nanaw took a picture of Chase next to the lit up Jack Skellington.
