Happy Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Nanaw got to sleep in on Wednesday. Daddy took Chase to mass before school for Ash Wednesday. Daddy said Chase's ashes were gone before they got to school. Tee Tee spent the day in Daddy's truck at ScottTrade, and Mama was very worried but everything turned out all right. Nanaw went to volunteer in Chase's class in the afternoon. She got to listen to almost all of the class read the little books they made about Ash Wednesday. Nanaw had a lot of fun listening to the boys and girls read. Chase wanted Nanaw to stay for the Valentine's party but Nanaw didn't want to intrude. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he had all kinds of treats and surprises in his Valentine's bag -- he was very excited. On the way home, they stopped at Dollar Tree to get some manuscript paper with wide lines so Chase can practice his printing. In the evening, Nanaw went to Chase's house for a Valentine's dinner. First, Chase opened his presents. He was excited to get lots of candy, two Roblox figures, and a set of Disney dogs from Mama and Daddy. From Nanaw, he got the set of 20 penguin key chains that Nanaw ordered from Amazon that he really wanted. Dinner was a heart-shaped pepperoni pizza for Chase and Mama, fried shrimp for Daddy and Nanaw and salad for everybody. After dinner, Chase and Mama worked on his homework.
