It snowed Saturday morning -- very pretty but it didn't stick. Nanaw had lots of fun playing with Chase when she went to visit him on Saturday morning. They played with his key chains and tsum tsums -- he sure does like those key chains. He read the Rat in the Hat book twice to Nanaw and did a really good job. The book is about Ratatouille the Rat from the movie -- one of Mama's favorites, actually. Then Chase finished his work from school -- writing the numbers from 1 to 100. Next, he wrote in what he calls his "writing journal" -- very cute. He learned that from his wonderful kindergarten teacher Mrs. Herrmann. Next, he wrote in the manuscript book of paper that Nanaw bought at Dollar Tree. So it was a very educational morning. Nanaw wanted to play with Chase's new checkers mat and game Mama bought him for Valentine's Day but he wasn't interested in that. Mama was going to Aunt Becca's in the afternoon for wine day. Daddy and Chase were going out to Wentzville to visit Grandma Pat; and maybe they were going to watch Cesi's basketball game.
