Nanaw went to visit Chase early on Saturday morning before he and Mama and Daddy left for Irving, Illinois. They played on Chase's new hockey game downstairs for awhile. Chase made an awesome goal from across the board. Nanaw didn't score (of course). Next, Chase read a story in the Biscuit book and did one of the Smart Alec workbook pages. When they were all packed up, Mama, Daddy and Chase left for Auntie LaLa's family farm in Irving where they were all spending the weekend. Chase was very excited because he was going to spend a lot of time with his friend Will. Mama sent a picture of Chase and Will on the ATV. Chase had a great time riding around with Will. Mama also sent a picture of a deer statue and Sam. Evidently Sam thought the deer statue was real, and he tried to attack it. Then he lay on the grass staring at it -- very cute. They had hamburgers, onion rings and tater tots for dinner and a big bonfire in the evening. Mama said it was a wonderful weekend, and they hope to go back again.
