When Nanaw went to visit Chase on Sunday evening, Daddy said Chase went to church on Sunday morning and saw Henry and Alaina, his friends from school. Mama fixed a delicious pot roast dinner, Nanaw's favorite. In addition to his dinner of chicken nuggets and rolls, Mama had Chase east a piece of beef, carrots and potatoes. To everyone's surprise, he ate all of it and said it was good. So next time Mama makes pot roast maybe that's what Chase will have for dinner, too. After dinner, Mama, Chase and Nanaw took Sam for a bonus walk. To Mama's and Nanaw's surprise, Chase went into the garage and got out his bike and bike helmet. Nanaw had wondered why Chase was so willing to go on a walk because he usually isn't. But he likes to ride his bike, so that explains it. On the walk, they met some neighbors, Cory and Dana, who bought the house with the blue back splash in the kitchen that Mama and Daddy wanted. The have a beautiful dog named Iris. So they all walked together for awhile, with Chase riding his bike. It was cute for Sam to have a friend walking with him.
