Chase wore his new winter coat yesterday -- very neat. The weather has been cooler than normal, and everyone has been wearing heavy coats. While Nanaw was waiting to pick Chase up from school, she talked to Evie's mom Laura. Nanaw told Laura that Chase is obsessed with weather and watches the weather channel after school. Evie's mom is a major in the Air Force reserve and is a weather officer. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told Nanaw that at third recess he played a game of Killer Shark Hurricane Disaster with some of his friends. Nanaw asked if Evie played with them, and Chase said no because if she had, he would have had to protect her. Nanaw isn't sure what that means. Chase showed Nanaw a Jack Skellington comic book in the book folder that he wants Mama to order for him. So Nanaw took a picture of the book and sent it to Mama. When Chase got home from school, he watched the weather on one of the TVs in his room and Chase TV on the other television. Nanaw helped him pick up all the things off his floor -- marbles, Minecraft and Roblox figures, and his two rock collections.
