When Nanaw took Chase to school on Thursday morning, she got a hug from Sami and a hug from Maria -- such sweet girls. Uncle Mike came to Nanaw's house in the morning to return her Nativity animals. Aunt Becky used them in her Advent play at her school. Chase was very happy to see them back where they belong. Mama had suggested that she and Nanaw go up to Mike's house and bring them home and reinstall them. Uncle Mike laughed when Nanaw told him that. Chase was so excited when Nanaw picked him up; he received his new Dogman book -- Dogman: Fetch 22. On the way home from school, Chase and Nanaw stopped at the bank to get birthday money for Aunt Becky and cousin Kristie. Chase played games on the laptop while Nanaw watched. On the way to take Chase home, they dropped something off at the lawyer's office, then went to the post office. Chase was going to do double reading tonight because he didn't do it last night. Four nights a week, he does 15 minutes of reading and keeps track of it in a reading log that he turns in on Fridays. Nanaw forgot to take any pictures of Chase today so she asked Mama to take on. And Mama took a great one!
