Chase’s adventure today was going to his second cousin Sam’s 4th birthday party out in Wentzville with Mama and Nanaw. On the way, they stopped at Aunt Karen’s house to pick up her presents for Sam – Mila wasn’t feeling well so they couldn’t go to the party. Chase seemed to have a wonderful time at the party, walking around and being very social with people. Mama took him outside in the back yard, and he and Sam ran around playing with a basketball and sticks. Chase fussed when he had to come inside because he didn’t want to come in. He spent some time climbing up the stairs and then Nanaw took him outside on the upstairs deck. Sam and his Aunt Laurie and cousin Brad came outside with him. Aunt Laurie blew bubbles for Sam and Chase. Chase and Mama and Nanaw didn’t stay for presents and cake because Chase was getting a little rambunctious. At home, Chase played in the backyard, then he got a bath (which he loved) while Daddy grilled steaks. Then before Nanaw went home, Chase, Mama and Nanaw played in Chase’s room with his Ferris wheel and fun park that he got for Easter. He’s doing a blowing kisses trick that’s so precious – we’re not sure where he learned it from. He also says quack-quack when you say quack-quack to him.
