Chase spent the day at Nanaw’s house, playing with his toys. He seemed to have a lot of fun with the rocking chair Nanaw brought up from downstairs for him to have in his room. One of the things he did was climb onto it backwards, then turn around and sit upright in it and then propel himself onto the floor – very funny. The rocking chair belonged to Uncle Mike and Mama when they were little. The Ridenhours, who lived in back of Mama’s family on Allan Drive gave it to Uncle Mike when he was just a few years old and then Mama played with it also. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in Nanaw’s subdivision. Nanaw read Chase’s new Easter books to him: "Thumper and Friends" from Grandma Pat and "The Easter Clubhouse" Mama and Daddy. When Chase got home from Nanaw’s, he went for a walk with Mama, Daddy and Sam.
