Chase and Nanaw spent the day at Chase’s house. Chase’s first adventure was a trip to Walmart, which seems to be one of his favorite places. He received his usual attention and smiles from the other customers and the check-out people – he’s such a charmer. He played in the living room for a long while, mostly with his new attraction – the drawer in the end table. He kept removing bookmarks and other things. One of his favorites seemed to be the R2D2 Pez dispenser. Mama said that last night he kept taking out a bookmark and wouldn’t leave the drawer alone. She suggested that for the time being, Nanaw turn the table so that the drawer opens into the wall to see what Chase does then. Nanaw suggested that Mama remove what’s in the drawer and fill it with chase’s things so Mama thinks that’s what she’s going to do. In the afternoon, the weather was really nice so Chase and Nanaw took a walk in Chase’s subdivision. When Mama got home from work, she put the non-experimental dinner in the over – onion soup meatloaf, which Mama made awhile back and which was very good. Mama, Nanaw, Chase and Sam went for a walk and Nanaw stayed for dinner. Sam’s toy of the day was the duck Mama gave him for Easter.
