On Friday morning when Mama took Sam to the groomer to be shaved, she saw a rocking horse at a garage sale down the street. She told Nanaw about it and on their way home from early morning grocery shopping at Walmart, Chase and Nanaw bought the rocking horse. He only cost $5 and he’s in wonderful shape. He neighs and makes clip-clop sounds. Mama is going to think of a name for him, probably based on the horses in the Kentucky Derby Chase’s main Friday adventure was going to Clayton Laptime. Nanaw took toys and books again to entertain him during story and song time and that works perfectly. Chase seemed to really enjoy watching Miss Jeannie blow bubbles. He also seemed to have fun at the light switch, turning out the lights.
