Chase’s adventure today was Laptime at Tesson Ferry library. Nanaw took books and toys and once again, Chase sat on Nanaw’s lap and played with the books and toys during the story and song part of Laptime. During the playtime part of Laptime, Chase seemed to have a great time pushing his stroller around the room. Nanaw had to follow after him so that he didn’t crash into anyone. Toward the end of Laptime, Chase got a little fussy because he wanted to push the stroller out the door so Chase and Nanaw left a little early. It was pouring down rain, so Nanaw parked the stroller in front of the library and carried Chase out to the car under the umbrella. Then a very nice man brought the stroller to Nanaw. Chase took a long nap in the afternoon, and then Nanaw came over to his house for Mama’s delicious experimental dinner of chicken enchilada casserole from the Alton cookbook that Pawpaw gave to her.
