The first of today’s adventures was Laptime at the Telegraph Road library. Nanaw took books and toys along to entertain Chase during the story and song part of Laptime, and it worked very well. Chase’s friend Nolan ran around during the story and song part and so his grandma took him home, and Chase didn’t get to play with him. After Laptime, Chase and Nanaw took a walk in Nanaw’s subdivision. In the afternoon, Chase went to Dr. Charles for his 15-month check-up and he got three shots. He also put on quite a performance for the doctor, dancing around and laughing and being his totally charming self. Chase weighs 24 pounds 6 ounces and is 31 1/4 inches tall; his head is 19 inches in circumference. Mama and Daddy went to the baseball game, and Chase and Nanaw went back to Nanaw’s house. Then they went home to Chase’s house and played in the living room with Chase’s toys until Chase went to bed at 9 p.m.
