Mama and Daddy worked at home today, and Chase spent most of the day at Nanaw’s house. In the morning, they went for a walk in Nanaw’s subdivision. During the day, Chase spent lots of time in his room with Nanaw, playing with his toys. Today was the Cardinals’ home opener, and Chase’s adventure for the day was Mama’s opening day party at the WE bar. Uncle Mike and Nanaw came to Mama’s party. Food included Rotel cheese dip, fresh veggies and fruit prepared by Uncle Mike, hamburgers and hot dogs grilled by Daddy. The TV was out on the WE bar, and everybody watched as the Cardinals lost badly, very badly to Cincinnati. Chase spent most of his time outside, running around the back yard, playing with his rake and shovel that Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky gave him. He seemed to have a great time and definitely didn’t want to leave his back yard.
