Sunday was Mama and Daddy's Super Bowl party. Nanaw was a little late getting there because she was working on Mama's Sam blanket. Nanaw finally brought it along with her to finish the hand sewing at Chase's house. Attending the party, were Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, Nichole, John-John and Uncle Will-Bill. Everyone was downstairs watching the football game, even Sam. But Mama said Sam was only downstairs because everybody had food and were giving him bites. Chase and Nichole played with chase's trains for a long while in the blue room; Nanaw was in there too, hemming the Sam blanket. For food, Mama served ham sandwich fixings, Little Smokies in crescent rolls and also bacon-wrapped, meatballs, shrimp, a big football cookie and lots of chips and dips. Nanaw helped Mama give Chase a bath and got to see how he plays with the color-changing cars in the bathtub. Nanaw also got to lie down on Chase's bed while he fell asleep -- and she had to try very hard to stay awake.
