Nanaw went to visit Chase early on Saturday morning. Nanaw sat with him while he had breakfast in the kitchen – he had butter bread and chocolate milk. Mama wanted to fix toast or cinnamon toast for him but he said he wanted butter bread. After breakfast, Chase and Nanaw played with his toys in the living room. Mama was going grocery shopping but before she left, she invited Nanaw to join them for dinner at Outback, and Nanaw of course said yes, thank you very much. Chase and Daddy went to church in the early evening, and Daddy said Chase was very good. They all left for Outback a little after six, and when they got there, they learned that it would be a 50-minute wait so they waited. Mama and Nanaw sat out on the porch to wait, and so did Daddy and chase at first – then they went inside to wait. Dinner was delicious. They started out with a blooming onion mixed with Aussie loaded fries – totally awesome. Nanaw had a New York strip steak; Chase had grilled cheese; Mama had a sirloin steak; and Daddy had stuffed shrimp. It was a wonderful dinner, and Chase was such a good boy, despite having to wait a really long time for his dinner.
